Mabel Fangirls Over Camila Cabello and Teaches Us London Slang

When you’re a young, new artist on the rise, the impulse is usually to get your first big record out into the world as soon as possible without a moment to waste! But Mabel is not like most other artists. The British singer-songwriter instead took her time to make sure she had a product she was 100% satisfied with! Mabel drops by the Young Hollywood Studio to chat with us about the 3-year-long process of creating and perfecting her (appropriately-titled) debut album, ‘High Expectations’, which yields thought-provoking jams like the epic breakup song “Don’t Call Me Up” and an ode to her struggles with anxiety, “OK”. She also reveals the one fellow singer she’d love to collaborate with, plus she teaches us a little bit of London slang!
