Photographer cops head-punch during CH-47 Chinook helocasting

US Army 25th Infantry Division Lightning Academy cadre and personnel conducted helocasting from a CH-47 Chinook helicopter off Hawaii recently.

The helicopter was assigned to the 25th Combat Aviation Brigade.

The activity occurred off the coast Kaneohe, Hawaii, on 31 July 31, 2019.

Chalk leader for the jump and recovery, 1st Lieutenant Ryan DeBooy, copped an accidental smack in the chops in the process, which was caught, up close and personal, on the 360 camera attached to his head.

CONTACT spotted the incident and may have embellished it during the edit 😉
